Who I Am...

My name is Jon, and I'm just a simple Sci-Fi nerd who loves God, my family, animals, cooking, Star Wars, Dr. Who, and of course education. 

My passion for education is one of the reasons I left my college teaching position (well that and my new bride got tired of our commute). I noticed a pattern in my college students...many didn't really understand some of the basics of mathematics. How can we expect them to succeed at a higher level without properly educating them with the fundamentals?

I have spent many years of my life sitting in a classroom, so I know just how difficult it can be when something does not "click".

It seems like no matter how much time you spend studying a particular subject, some things still do not make sense. I'd like to help change that...

In addition to my massive Star Wars memorabilia collection, I have a degree in Applied Mathematics, a passion for history, an enthusiasm for science and love reading. I truly enjoy helping others succeed in their educational journey.

I offer tutoring services at all levels... from K-college. Whether just learning to read or complex differential equations, together we can achieve you the grades you want.
